Two Lanzarote writers present their debut novels in Arrecife

Literature made in Lanzarote takes centre stage this June with the presentation of two debut novels by island authors. The Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz and the Biblioteca Municipal del Centro Cívico will host encounters with the public to introduce Cuento de Lirios by Noelia Acuña Perdomo and El juego de Ena by Amuhaici Miranda Martín.

The first event takes place on Thursday at 19:00 at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz. In Cuento de Lirios, Noelia Acuña crafts a fantasy story centred on Delaira, a young woman trying to escape a past that haunts her, who becomes entangled in a web of magic, conspiracies and secrets capable of altering a kingdom's fate. The novel marks the literary debut of an author passionate about reading and writing since childhood.

Meanwhile, Amuhaici Miranda will present El juego de Ena on 25 June at 19:30 at the Biblioteca Municipal del Centro Cívico. The novel takes readers on a journey of introspection and personal growth through a protagonist who learns to live with her mistakes, listen to her intuition and find new ways to face life. The presentation will feature Lanzarote-born broadcaster Marta Armas.
