The art hall of the Convento de Santo Domingo, in Teguise, is hosting the exhibition Flores de la Amazonia until 24 June, a show by the artist Sebastiano Navarra inspired by the lush plant life, the colours and the biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. The exhibition invites visitors into a visual world shaped by the force of nature and the chromatic richness of one of the most fascinating ecosystems on the planet.
Curated by Paola Veneto, the exhibition brings together a selection of works in which flowers, organic shapes and suggested landscapes build a journey full of vitality and artistic sensitivity. Through a very personal eye, Navarra turns his natural inspiration into compositions that convey energy, harmony and wonder.
The show can be visited free of charge until 24 June. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 15:00, and Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00, offering a fresh chance to enjoy contemporary art in one of the most emblematic heritage buildings in Teguise.
