Guatiza has everything ready to celebrate its Fiestas de Santa Margarita 2026, a programme running throughout July with a wide range of sporting, cultural, children's, gastronomic and musical activities designed for locals and visitors alike. The celebrations will once again turn the village into a meeting point, with traditional tournaments, workshops, theatre, summer cinema, playback shows, verbenas (open-air street parties) and religious services.
Among the most eagerly awaited events are the Noche de Parrandas, a night of parrandas (traditional Canarian folk groups), the Fiesta del Agua, the adult gymkhana "De caña en caña", and the verbena on Saturday 18 July with La Resistencia, Sintonía Show and Nueva Stella, alongside the traditional popular tapeo, the bingo with prizes and the religious celebrations in honour of Santa Margarita. The programme also includes plenty of activities for all ages, from children's workshops to championships in bola, envite, chinchón, dominoes and jigsaw puzzles.
