The Ayuntamiento de Teguise will celebrate International Youth Day on 12 August with a day of free activities at the Centro Sociocultural in La Caleta de Famara. The programme will run from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and will bring together leisure, sport, creativity and social activities aimed at young people from all over the island.
Throughout the day there will be sports activities, creative workshops, video games, board games, an escape room, talks, music, chill-out areas and various other activities, with the aim of creating a space for young people to meet and take part in an open, participatory setting.
The initiative, organised by the Ayuntamiento de Teguise through its Youth Department with the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, seeks to encourage responsible leisure, the exchange of experiences and the active participation of young people, inviting those attending to enjoy a day designed for sharing, learning and spending time together.
