History will come alive once again in the streets of La Villa de Teguise with the dramatised walking tour Tras la huella de Clavijo y Fajardo, an event that will invite the public to discover one of the most prominent figures in the history of Lanzarote through an open-air theatrical experience. It will take place on Friday 17 July at 8:00 pm.
The tour will set off from Plaza de Los Leones and wind through different corners of Teguise's historic centre, where those taking part will be able to follow in the footsteps of José Clavijo y Fajardo by means of a theatrical performance combining heritage, history and acting. The show is directed by Germán Barrios and performed by Salvador Leal.
Organised by Teguise Town Council and the cultural association Actúa, the initiative offers a different way of getting to know the past of Lanzarote's former capital, turning its streets into a vast stage where architectural heritage and theatrical performance come together to create an immersive cultural experience.
