The Archivo Municipal de Arrecife hosts the closing of the second edition of Lanzarote Negra on Saturday 30 May from 10:00, a literary and cinematic event returning after being postponed last December due to Storm Emilia.
The festival, focused on the noir genre, will close this edition with a day of interviews, literary presentations and award ceremonies, consolidating a proposal that has carved out a space within the cultural landscape linked to crime fiction in the Canary Islands and Spain.
The day will be directed by journalist Gonzalo Mejías and coordinated by writer Miguel Aguerralde, featuring an interview with Salva Alemany, author of Hotel California, plus a section dedicated to Canarian noir with authors including Ángel Sánchez de la Cruz, Ángeles Pinacho, Arantxa Rufo, Miguel Aguerralde and José Luis Correa. The event concludes with the presentation of the pending awards from this second edition.
The proposal forms part of the ongoing commitment of Lanzarote's cultural institutions to offering a diverse and accessible programme, enabling residents and visitors to enjoy quality cultural experiences across the island's municipalities.
