Playa Honda will once again celebrate the Noche de San Juan on 23 June with a day designed to be enjoyed as a family by the seafront. The event will combine children's activities, live music, local food and the lighting of the traditional bonfire, one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the night.
The celebration will begin at 11:00 with activities aimed at the youngest visitors, including a play area, bouncy castles, cookery workshops, games and family shows. Throughout the day there will also be tastings of local produce and various musical performances to liven up the atmosphere in one of the busiest parts of the municipality.
The centrepiece will come at 21:30 with the lighting of the great San Juan bonfire, which will once again bring residents and visitors together for one of the most symbolic nights marking the start of summer. The event makes Playa Honda one of Lanzarote's key spots to experience this popular celebration by the sea.
