Lanzarote and La Graciosa celebrate Canary Islands Day with a packed cultural and festive programme that will fill plazas and public spaces with music, gastronomy, folklore and traditional activities during the last days of May. The island's town councils have prepared concerts, street markets, gastronomic fairs, workshops and traditional games for all ages.
Every municipality will host performances by parrandas, folk groups and Canarian artists, alongside proposals linked to crafts, cinema, literature and popular culture. Other highlights include the Feria del Queso y la Cabra de Lanzarote, gastronomic gatherings and children's activities.
