Zero-kilometre produce takes centre stage again at the Fiestas de San Roque with a new edition of Sabores de Tinajo, a food experience to be held on Friday 14 August at 7:00 pm in the Plaza de San Roque. The initiative aims to bring the richness of local cuisine closer to the public through a proposal built on locally sourced produce.
The activity will include a tasting with live cooking and showcooking, highlighting products grown and made in the municipality. The event is part of the Gobierno de Canarias' Dinamiza Rural programme and of the Fiestas de San Roque 2026 programme, strengthening the link between the primary sector, local businesses and the community.
Places are limited, so advance booking is required by calling or sending a WhatsApp message to 625 568 892. The organisers point out that demand has been very high in previous editions and recommend signing up early.
