La Pantalla Chinija continues its tour of Lanzarote with a new session this Saturday 29 August, at 12:00 noon, at the Centro Cívico de Playa Honda. The session is aimed at children aged 4 to 9 and centres on Song of the Sea (La canción del mar), the animated film nominated for an Oscar in 2015.
The film takes viewers on a journey through a world of imagination and family bonds, touching on questions such as loss, affection, identity and living with one's own emotions. Its distinctive visual style will serve as the starting point for a session that aims for the youngest audience to be more than just spectators, and to interpret and talk about what they have seen.
After the film, Vicki Dos Santos will lead a mediation session adapted for children, in which participants can share their emotions, ideas and reflections. The session is part of La Pantalla Chinija, a project that travels around different municipalities of Lanzarote bringing children a selection of films accompanied by discussion and analysis activities.
