Tías gears up for its Fiestas de San Antonio with more than two weeks of activities

Tías is already warming up for its traditional Fiestas de San Antonio 2026, a programme running from 31 May to 14 June with cultural, sporting, musical, gastronomic and leisure events spread across different parts of the municipality.

The programme once again combines tradition and community participation with concerts, theatre, workshops, championships, youth activities and religious ceremonies that form part of one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations in the local festive calendar.

For more than two weeks, the squares, sports facilities and cultural venues of Tías will host a varied agenda designed for all ages, cementing the fiestas as one of the municipality's great meeting points.

Sunday 31

  • 18:00 Tribute to Las Guerreras K-Pop. Pabellón Municipal de Tías.

Monday 1

  • 20:00 Envite championship (traditional Canarian card game; minimum eight teams). Café at the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández 'Pancho' football ground. Organised by: Club de Lucha Unión Sur de Tías.

Tuesday 2

  • 18:00 Billiards tournament at the Espacio Joven (over-12s). Plaza El Pavón. Organised by: Concejalía de Juventud.

  • 19:00 End-of-year showcase by students of the Centro de Artes Escénicas Lanzarote with the play Emoción. Teatro Municipal de Tías.

Wednesday 3

  • 18:00 Darts tournament at the Espacio Joven (over-12s). Plaza El Pavón. Organised by: Concejalía de Juventud.

  • 20:00 Mixed chinchón card championship (over-16s). Café at the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández 'Pancho' football ground. Organised by: Club de Lucha Unión Sur de Tías.

Thursday 4

  • 18:00 Table football tournament at the Espacio Joven (over-12s). Plaza El Pavón. Organised by: Concejalía de Juventud.

  • 20:00 Mixed ronda card championship (over-16s). Café at the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández 'Pancho' football ground. Organised by: Club de Lucha Unión Sur de Tías.

  • 19:00 Choir gathering at the church of La Candelaria to mark the 230th anniversary of the parish of Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.
