Tías continues its special programme for Canary Islands Day 2026, an agenda that kicked off at the start of the month with workshops, craft activities and proposals celebrating the identity and popular traditions of the archipelago.
The celebration reaches one of its high points on Friday 29 May at the Plaza del Varadero in Puerto del Carmen, which will host a full programme of traditional games, workshops, indigenous sports, music and folk performances throughout the afternoon and evening.
Activities continue on Saturday 30 May across different neighbourhoods of the municipality with flag-raising, musical performances and community gatherings in Tías, Conil, Mácher and Masdache.
