El Almacén hosts the presentation of La condena de las Torres Bellas this Friday 24 July at 8:00 pm, the latest work by Vivien Déniz, in an event that goes beyond the usual format of a literary act to become an experience blending word, image and stagecraft.
Organised by the Culture Department of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the activity will feature the participation of the multidisciplinary artist Atchén Pounapal, who will accompany the author in an encounter designed to bring the world of the book closer to the public through different artistic languages.
The presentation will combine readings of extracts from the work with audiovisual material and a performative staging, proposing a dialogue between literature, body and image that will allow the audience to step into the creative universe of La condena de las Torres Bellas.
Vivien Déniz sets out an encounter that will address questions such as identity, territory, precariousness and the contemporary ways of inhabiting the margins, from an artistic and approachable perspective.
