Sonidos Líquidos cancels this Saturday's edition due to high winds
The festival organisers announced the cancellation of the 2026 edition at La Geria after wind gusts exceeded 75 km/h and official forecasts pointed to worsening conditions, prioritising the safety of all attendees.

The Sonidos Líquidos organisation announced on Saturday the cancellation of the 2026 edition at La Geria due to worsening weather conditions. According to the festival, wind gusts exceeding 75 km/h were recorded in recent hours and official forecasts pointed to an increase in wind intensity throughout the rest of the day.
After analysing the situation and in coordination with the competent safety authorities, the organisation decided to suspend the event — a decision it describes as "the hardest" in its sixteen editions. The festival stated that the priority had been to guarantee the safety of artists, technical staff, the human team and attendees, whilst acknowledging that conditions were not suitable for the event to proceed normally.
Sonidos Líquidos deeply regrets the inconvenience caused and has apologised to the public. They also informed that details about the ticket refund process and transport tickets purchased for the event would be provided in the coming days.
