Sonidos Líquidos cancels Saturday's edition due to high winds

The organisers of Sonidos Líquidos have announced the cancellation of the 2026 edition, planned for La Geria, due to worsening weather conditions. According to the festival's statement, wind gusts exceeding 75 km/h have been recorded in recent hours, with official forecasts pointing to a further increase in wind intensity throughout the day.

After analysing the situation and coordinating with the relevant safety authorities, the organisation has decided to suspend the event — a decision it describes as "the hardest" in the festival's sixteen editions. The priority has been to guarantee the safety of artists, technical staff, the wider team and attendees, whilst acknowledging that conditions were not suitable for the event to go ahead as planned.

Sonidos Líquidos deeply regrets any inconvenience caused and has apologised to the public. They also announced that details about the ticket and transport refund process will be provided in the coming days.
