Titiritías returns with four days of circus, theatre and charity humour in Tías

The Titiritías Solidarity Performing Arts festival celebrates its ninth edition from 16 to 21 June with a programme filling different spaces in the municipality of Tías with theatre, circus, clown and family shows. Now established as one of Lanzarote's most unique cultural events, the festival will donate all charitable proceeds to the sociocultural association La Vida es Zuaina.

The programme brings together companies from the Canary Islands, Extremadura, Andalusia, Asturias, Belgium and Argentina, with proposals for audiences of all ages. Teatro Municipal de Tías and Plaza El Pavón will be the main stages of a festival combining training, street performances and theatrical shows with a strong participatory and family-oriented character.

In addition to the performances, Titiritías will offer circus workshops and masterclasses, reinforcing its commitment to bringing the performing arts to the public from an educational and community perspective. With the exception of the opening gala by Guanire Circo, all shows are free and suitable for all ages unless otherwise stated.
