Titiritías returns with four days of circus, theatre and solidarity humour in Tías

The Solidary Performing Arts Festival Titiritías celebrates its ninth edition from 16 to 21 June, bringing theatre, circus, clown and family shows to venues across Tías. Now firmly established as one of Lanzarote's most distinctive cultural events, the festival will donate all solidarity proceeds to the sociocultural association La Vida es Zuaina.

The programme brings together companies from the Canary Islands, Extremadura, Andalusia, Asturias, Belgium and Argentina, with proposals for audiences of all ages. Teatro Municipal de Tías and Plaza El Pavón will serve as the main stages for a festival that combines training, street performances and stage shows with a strong participatory and family-oriented spirit.

In addition to the performances, Titiritías will offer circus workshops and masterclasses, reinforcing its commitment to bringing the performing arts closer to the public from an educational and community perspective. With the exception of the opening gala by Guanire Circo, all shows are free and suitable for all ages unless otherwise stated.

Saturday 20 June

  • 10:00 — Circus workshop for all ages and levels.
  • Master Class El Payaso Callejero, led by Chacovachi.
