The project Destiladera. Lanzarote Revelado enters its final stretch after reaching full capacity in its first sessions held in Arrecife, Tías, and Haría. The initiative by Tenique Cultural continues its tour of different municipalities on the island this week, consolidating itself as one of the most emotional and participatory proposals around the audiovisual memory of Lanzarote.
The activity, which combines cinema, heritage, and local identity, proposes a journey to the past through old images selected by filmmaker Dailo Barco, rescuing everyday scenes, landscapes, and moments that awaken memories and generate intergenerational dialogue between neighbours and attendees.
Each screening also concludes with a tasting of Aqual Lanzarote cheese and Vega de Yuco wine, turning each event into a close encounter where conversation and collective memory extend the experience beyond the screen.
